‘Tis the season. Well, almost. If you’re on Team Turkey like me than the season doesn’t start for a few more days, but with Thanksgiving coming up and Black Friday and Cyber Monday following it’s time to start thinking about gifts. Sometimes it’s easy to figure out what to get someone, but other times you need some inspiration.
Have a friend who loves all things health and fitness? Here are some perfect gift options for the fitness lover in your life:
Fitspiration Journal (16.95)
I absolutely love these fitspiration journals, especially the “goal getter” version (because who doesn’t want to be a goal getter?). There are places for you to write what you are grateful for, your daily fit livings goals, what inspires you, motivational quotes, and more. These are perfect for someone looking to track their daily progress and looking for support. They are available both online and at some Walgreens stores.
TIU Resistance Bands ($12.99 on sale from $18)
Resistance bands are the perfect accessory for a girl who loves to workout – especially one who likes to travel. They’re easy to store in your apartment, don’t require a lot of space to use, and easily pack away into luggage while heading on a trip for work or for fun. The Tone it Up bands are a great set because they come with both a light and heavy resistance band, allowing you to change out bands based on your strength on different exercises. They’re on sale now so it’s the perfect time to buy!
Have a friend who loves to workout but also loves pizza. I think I’m that friend for just about anyone who knows me. I mean, hello! I live in Chicago, how could you not love pizza. But really, for me and all the other pizza lovers in your life this water bottle is perfection. It says “I love fitness, but I also love fitin’ this pizza in my mouth.” And as an added bonus it’s BPA-, lead-, and phthalate-free so no need to worry about buying a gift that could be harmful. Anyone craving deep dish right now or is it just me?
Savasana Tee ($30)
Who doesn’t love puppies and savasana?! But seriously. I can’t think of a single person. Which means this tank is the perfect gift for anyone and everyone in your life. The shirt is one size fits most, so be mindful when ordering. This can be a plus, however, because if you’re anything like me you HATE trying to guess people’s sizes when ordering clothes. Another added bonus: if it is your first time ordering from Puppies Make Me Happy you can give your email to join the VIP list and get 15% off our order. And they offer a military discount. You really have no reason to not gift this tank, or 10.
If there’s one color trending right now it’s rose gold. You can find it everywhere from iPhones to Mac Books to jewelry to water bottles. S’well has always been a popular brand for their sleek design, spill-free lid and ability to keep drinks cold for 24 hours or hot for 12 hours. The water bottles are infamous for their beauty and for keeping water so dang cold.
And as if their gorgeous bottles weren’t convincing enough, S’well has teamed up with the U.S. Fund for UNICEF to help provide clean drinking water to children around the world
Foil Art Print ($12+)
A little motivation never hurt anyone. A lot of motivation changes lives. Inspire day-after-day with a foil print that can be displayed in someone’s home where they can be reminded every day that they “got this.” I love inspirational prints, and am notorious for using them at the background on my phone. “Get it Girl” was my background for a solid 10 months before I switched to a kitty in a witch hat for Halloween. And this print is a beautiful reminder that she can do it every day. There are multiple foil color options, and if this print doesn’t speak to you there are plenty of others to chose from. It’s an especially great gift for someone who just moved and needs some art to decorate their walls.
Body Glide for Her ($7.49)
Alright, so this one probably seems strange, but when I tell you this is the ultimate stocking stuffer for a runner I mean it. I absolutely live by this stuff. Have you ever experienced chaffing from running (or any other workout)? This stuff glides on similar to deodorant, but forms a layer that protects from chaffing. It’s perfect for thighs, armpits, under sports bras, booties, really anywhere you can experience chaffing. (But no, do not stick it up in your butt, just the edges people—don’t get me in trouble for mentioning booties.) In running season I always keep two sticks in my apartment so that I don’t run out. And for emergency times when I lose one so that I don’t wake up on race morning without any (because that panic has happened before). Any runner will thank you for this.
